Curriculum Content
The current version of the e-LMS curriculum is composed of 7.5 hours of focused transthoracic echocardiography, of 8 hours of focused transesophageal echocardiography, of 8 hours of general ultrasonography content (Assessment of Central and Peripheral Vessels, Assessment of the pleural space and lung) and of 2.5 hours of ultrasound-guided peripheral vascular access

Focused Transesophageal Echocadiography - 8 hours of content divided in 11 courses and 36 modules:
General Ultrasound
Assessment of central and peripheral vessels - 5.5 hours of content divided in 3 courses and 26 modules:
Review of the literature
Ultrasonographic examination of the main vessels: Internal jugular, Subclavian, Femoral, Peripheral veins
Assessment of the lower extremities for deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
Assessment of the pleural space and lung - 2.5 hours of content (7 modules):
Ultrasound assessment of the pleural space for effusion
Ultrasound-guided thoracentesis
Ultrasound-Guided Peripheral Vascular Access
