Dr. Maxime Valois completed medical school at Sherbrooke University. He then trained in general medicine at Montréal University and subsequently obtained an emergency medicine certification from the Canadian college of family physicians. Dr. Valois has been working in an urban intensive care unit and in the emergency department since 2004. He trained extensively with ultrasound while working in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. Dr Valois is the director of a training center of the Canadian Emergency Ultrasound Society (CEUS). His interests include lung, cardiac and critical care ultrasound. He began working with CAE ICCU in 2010.
