Dr. Serri completed his medical school at University of Montreal and then did his Internal Medicine and Cardiology training, including additional training in echocardiography, at University of Montreal. He then completed a one-year echocardiography fellowship in Bordeaux, France followed by a 18 months fellowship in multidisciplinary Critical Care at McGill University in Montreal.

Dr. Serri is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at University of Montreal and is practicing as a cardiologist - echocardiographer and intensivist at Hôpital du Sacré Coeur de Montréal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He has published multiple articles in echocardiography, particularly on cardiac resynchronization therapy and new imaging techniques. His research interests focus on myocardial dysfunction in neurological conditions as well as right heart dysfunction in the critical care setting.
